Your Water, Your Voice: Drinking Water Summit - Grand Rapids

What’s your water agenda? At this interactive session, you will hear from experts and leaders about the state of Michigan’s drinking water and how to care for our drinking water quality going forward. Then it's YOUR turn to sound off, straight to state leaders! After the panels, there will be a Citizen Sound Off. This facilitated dialogue is your chance to weigh in on the ideas shared and how YOU think the state’s drinking water should be managed. Your opinions will inform the Center for Michigan's Citizen Water Agenda, a report on resident water priorities delivered to every state-level elected leader! ABOUT THE CENTER: The Center for Michigan, Bridge Magazine’s publisher, is a nonpartisan, nonprofit “citizenship company” that works to magnify Michiganders voices straight to Lansing. And your voices are being heard! Legislators have made major changes in response to citizen sentiment collected in our campaigns, from the nation’s largest preschool expansion to decreased business taxes and corrections spending to deeper investment in the state’s famed Pure Michigan campaign.
